  2. i think you can get fat happy or sad. i eat when i'm happy, excited, sad, mad, bored, etc. i eat just as much when i'm happy as i do when i'm sad!

  3. I'm not disputing that you can be happy and fat, but can you become overweight/obese and be happy? I think those people are the extreme minority.

  4. I really appreciate that in your description you say "not only changing my body but my relationship with it." It's such a mental process, along with being a physical one!

  5. I'm really interested to see the results from this questionaire. While looking at the choices, I realized something-- a lot of the reasons I was overweight to begin with (genetics, family environment, abuse, etc) might have worked as excuses/reasons for say, the first 15 or so years of my life... but these last (nearly) 15, that's all they've been-- excuses to not step up and take the responsibility of caring for myself.

    I can't say that applies to everyone, but at least in my case, it's the truth.
